The part # 4700 Offset Oil Filter Adapter with Automatic Thermostat installs between the engine and oil filter for quick and easy access to oil supply for oil cooler installation. Flows oil through the filter first, resulting in greater flow characteristics.
The 4700 features an internal thermostatic by-pass that allows oil to by-pass the oil cooling system until the oil reaches operating temperature.
